主講人簡介：

鐘宇翔，博士，華中科技大學(xué)管理學(xué)院會計系講師，碩士生導(dǎo)師。主要研究方向包括制度環(huán)境與企業(yè)行為、資產(chǎn)定價與跨國會計研究。鐘宇翔博士于2019年畢業(yè)于西安交通大學(xué)管理學(xué)院，獲管理學(xué)博士學(xué)位。2012年獲得武漢大學(xué)管理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。2015年8月至2018年8月，在香港理工大學(xué)進行聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)。相關(guān)成果發(fā)表于《Journal of Banking & Finance》、《Journal of Business Finance & Accounting》、《International Review of Financial Analysis》、《Journal of International Accounting Research》、《管理科學(xué)學(xué)報》以及《南開管理評論》等國內(nèi)外期刊上。擔(dān)任《International Review of Financial Analysis》、《Emerging Markets Finance and Trade》、《China Accounting and Finance Review》、《Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money》等期刊的匿名審稿人。

摘要：

Global warming has been a growing global concern that forces regulators to find ways to promote green justice and imposes significant environmental litigation cost on firms and in turn, reduce environmental damage. We examine whether the staggered establishment of environmental courts and tribunals (ECTs) in different countries effectively motivate firms to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We find firms exhibit significant reduction in GHG after their countries establish ECTs. Cross-sectional tests reveal that firms reduce their GHG emission by a larger margin when a few country-level and firm-level characteristics predict that the establishment of ECTs represents a stronger shock to the enforcement quality. Overall, our paper suggests that the establishment of ECTs can facilitate public access to green justice, and motive firms to reduce their GHG emission.

全球變暖已成為一個全球性關(guān)注的問題，迫使監(jiān)管機構(gòu)尋找促進綠色司法的途徑對企業(yè)污染環(huán)境的行為施加更高的法律成本，從而減少環(huán)境破壞。本文研究了在不同國家分階段建立環(huán)境法庭能否有效地迫使企業(yè)減少溫室氣體排放。實證結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)，在其所在國家建立環(huán)境法庭之后，企業(yè)的溫室氣體排放顯著減少。橫截面檢驗表明，當(dāng)一個國家的環(huán)境執(zhí)法力度隨著環(huán)境法庭的設(shè)立提高的更加明顯時，企業(yè)的溫室氣體排放幅度減少的更明顯。總的來說，本文研究發(fā)現(xiàn)建立環(huán)境法庭可以促進綠色司法，迫使企業(yè)減少溫室氣體
