主講人簡介：

陳鏵，畢業于佐治亞州立大學，2008-2018年就職于天普大學福克斯商學院風險管理與保險系，現任夏威夷大學馬諾阿分校希德勒商學院金融系教授。陳鏵教授的研究涉及長壽風險管理、金融系統性風險分析、金融市場穩定性、企業風險管理以及保險經濟學等領域。他的研究在風險管理、保險以及精算領域的頂尖學術期刊上發表，且多次獲得天普大學和夏威夷大學的各項教學和研究獎。陳鏵曾任Journal of Insurance Issue和Journal of Insurance and Finance的副主編，也是Journal of Risk & Control and Risks的編委會成員。

內容提要：

This lecture will focus on constructing a reinsurance network where insurers are interconnected through reinsurance transactions, and will investigate systemic risk within this network structure. The systemic risk is measured by spillover loss, which occurs when liability payouts decrease due to cascading defaults. Under the condition of tail-dependent insurance losses, we will reveal a U-shaped relationship between network integration and spillover loss. Additionally, the lecture will introduce a leave-one-out (LOO) approach to identify systemically important (re)insurers and explore optimal bailout strategies aimed at minimizing spillover loss. Extensive simulations using reinsurance data from the U.S. Property/Liability insurance market will be presented to validate our key findings, which show that the optimal bailout strategy based on the LOO ranking is more effective than those based on in-degree or in-strength rankings.

此講座將圍繞構建一個通過再保險交易聯結的保險公司網絡展開，研究該網絡結構中的系統性風險——以責任賠付因級聯違約減少導致的溢出損失作為度量指標。講座將揭示：在保險損失存在尾部相依性的條件下，網絡整合度與溢出損失呈 U 型關系。我們還將采用留一法（LOO）識別系統重要性（再）保險公司，并探究以最小化溢出損失為目標的最優救助策略。基于美國財產/責任保險市場的再保險數據開展的大規模仿真分析將驗證核心結論，并表明：相比基于入度或入強度排序的策略，基于 LOO 排序的最優救助方案更為有效。
